About me

I’m an experienced teacher, a certified NLP coach and CIEP-trained copyeditor. I have a real passion for improving things, whether that’s tweaking the typos in a document for publication or helping someone tighten up the pacing and plot of their novel.

I get a nerdy pleasure in ferreting out a typo or clarifying a point of grammar, and I love being able to help people refine their manuscripts. Stories are at the heart of the human experience, and there’s nothing better than helping someone shape and perfect the story they want to tell.

As a writer myself I know the importance of communicating feedback in a constructive and encouraging way, and nearly twenty years as a teacher has made me very good at doing so. You can trust that my comments will be incisive and supportive, balancing an appreciation for the positive aspects of your work with suggestions for further improvement.
